Branded by the Wood Wailers as a corrupted Wildling, they've been marked for Death among the population of Gridania. Their Padjal-like horns considered to be a growth of woodsin, a blasphemy of the Padjal and a threat to Gridania for the powerful untamed aether their vessel contains.
Often located deep past the briars and fangs of beasts in the Shroud wilds, this Wren makes their nest.In recent moons they find themselves unexpectedly exploring the society that has only gifted them with twisted screams, and pointed sticks. Finding companionship among the outcasted and shunned ones of the forest... a glimpse of warmth after a lifetime of darkness within' twisting roots, and maze like woods... with only the birds and sylphs to sing to.

Built around the ever flowing stories of nature make the Keeper a keen listener, if a socially awkward one. They attempt to mold and mimic the world around them. While they crave the company of others, so often they fall short when it comes to understanding the social cues of a society they've avoided for so long. Finding their strength among the spirits and animals they are so used to, making them feel an outsider in a world of politics and strife-- where the leaves in the wind no long sing them to restful sleep.
The Keeper is always wearing their signature owl like mask, cracked and smelling of sage and oils, covering their mysterious features. Black tipped ears compliment fluffy white hair. Often Cloaked in furs from antelope and other beasts of prey, and clothed with stolen or torn clothes found upon corpses. Covered in rune charms made of bone and fang spread across their body down to shaven tail- wrapped in leather strings with dangling charms to bless their balance.

In-Character Hooksπ₯§π
- Aether Sickness.
This Keeper often finds at the slightest use of their aether falling into bouts of dizziness and fainting. Any versed in Alchemy or Medicine can surely aid in this.
- Marked for Death
Gridania has made its stance clear, this wildling is considered dangerous. Their motives for their recorded kills are yet unknown, perhaps just desperation and hunger.
- Another Outcasted
Another wildling, or Gridanian outcast, maybe you'll find this Wren hidden in their nest...or stalking you curiously through the woods.
- Fetcher ??
A scavenger at heart, they might just rob your campsite for herbs, socks, a nice leather belt, food, or drugs, they will however leave behind your gil. Mostly.
- Poachers Conflict
Their connection is one of mutual hatred. Known for their attacks on Poachers, and Poachers value them for their powerful magics and wildling horns.
- Shroud Lurker
To gain the attention of this mischievous spirit can be both a blessing and a curse, they might just follow you home. Or leave spring vetetables on your window.
- Will of the Wood
A reverent servant of the Keepers of the Wood, or just a thrall? Regardless.. the horned one is born knowing their purpose to the Elementals- to restore the Twelveswood to its former strength pre-calamity.
- A Dark Aether
Or any other curious kinds of aether. Any strange signatures that might make the elementals wary will draw the Wildling in to investigate and...resolve such blight upon the wood.
- Friend of the Sylphs
And other curious forest spirits, this superstitious Keeper leaves many offerings for folk of the woods, and avoids those darkened hills marred by Woodsin. Those tricky fellows are never up to any good...

Hello, thank you for reading my carrd! Now for the best part, all the OOC tea. Below are some bulletpoints of the general vibes we're workin' with.- I love the Lore of FFXIV, and I also love to bend the lore of FFXIV, as long as its within the realm of possibility and is still interesting and engaged with the themes of FFXIV im all in! I have a particular deep passion for 1.0 lore. Feel free to reach out for any and all questions.- Im personally not interested in club scenes or overly modern or lore extreme characters (Love you solution 9 but not on this gremlin, I need to discover fire first.) If your character is going to lore dump the secrets of the universe (or Allagan shit) and expect a profound response within' the first RP, im probably just not the rper for you.- I dont do that well in big events or scenes with more than 4 writers not including myself because im a dirty multi-para rper, typically 1-2 paragraphs is my preference but it all depends on the RP taking place of course. I prefer post orders.
